I am a landscape photographer from the city of Calcutta , India. I am really passionate about photographing extreme weather, specially storms and cloudscapes. I am extremely concerned about the changing weather patterns worldwide and try to use the medium of photography to document changes in extreme weather primarily in south Bengal. I have been documenting clouds and storms for the past 10 years and try to do my bit to spread the message through my website.. One needs extreme amount of mobility to shoot storms and cloud systems and I have been looking for a lighter gear option and decided to partly move the X-E1. After that I fell in love with the Fuji X system and bought the X100s and the X-T1. Currently I’m using the Xpro2 and the X-Pro1 , with the XF14mmF2.8 , XF23mmF2 and the XF35mmF1.4. I have been a Fuji Slide film shooter from the time I took up photography seriously and it was a real joy to get back to the colours of the Fuji Velvia and Fuji Sensia that i had used extensively for many years. Thank you Fuji for brining back mobility into my photography and brining back the joy of slide film colours to the new generation photographers. The X-Pro2 and the X-Pro1 also doubles up as a fantastic travel and street cameras. Due to its size and appearance it is virtually invisible to people around me which leads to easier image making.
