Badal Jain, is one of India’s finest and most talented wedding cinematographer with over 16 years of experience and around 600+ weddings under his belt. His clientele includes billionaires around the world and gets booked almost six to eight months in advance.

A college dropout from Jaipur, Badal Jain inherited journalistic career back in 1995, from his very hard working father who had worked for BBC & Voice of America. But soon after his four year stint with NDTV as a cameraperson he was jobless and had to come to Delhi to find work. After a couple of years of doing freelance jobs he decided to shoot weddings, as it was a question of survival now. The market space was over crowded, but he realised the need of creating a different experience for the biggest days in one’s life. His innovative style of storytelling and creative shooting styles soon made the most wanted wedding filmmaker by the rich and famous from all around the country.

He started with Fujifilm in the year 2018 with the purchase of X-H1 and explains it as most liberating and rejuvenating experiences of his career. He is biggest fan of the colour tones produced by the camera in the extremely difficult light conditions of an Indian Wedding. He is particularly enjoys the ergonomics of the camera bundled with light weight XF lenses when shooting for long hours of Indian Weddings and it’s rituals. He thinks that Fujifilm X Series has produced the most honest and life like results that he has seen in his professional career so far!
