FUJIFILM X Summit September 2023 was held at Stockholm on 12th September. FUJIFILM launched the new GFX Camera and 3 new G-Mount Lenses. Let’s check out the Newly announced products:
“FUJIFILM GFX100 II” More Than Full Frame
“Fujifilm GFX100 II” was announced on 12th September 2023. The GFX100 II brings a new 102-megapixel sensor “GFX 102MP CMOS II HS” with a readout speed that is about two times faster than GFX100S.Combined with X-Processor 5, GFX100 II is able to achieve a high continuous frame rate of up to 8fps, surgically accurate AF, and advanced video features that have never before existed in any previous GFX System or X Series.
“FUJINON GF55mmF1.7 R WR” Setting the Standard
Matching GF55mmF1.7 R WR’s focal length with the diagonal measurement of a GFX System camera’s imaging sensor creates an angle of view that is very similar to the human eye.
This unlocks an abundance of detail within each image, especially when it is combined with the system’s native 4:3 aspect ratio. Amidst the vast sea of visual perspectives, GF55mmF1.7 is truly a wonderful, all-around solution for any visual style.

FIRMWARE UPDATES:
New firmware updates were announced by FUJIFILM for X series cameras in September with more advanced features, motion prediction algorithms, subject detection capability and much more.
MASTERCLASS HIGHLIGHTS
Sports Photography workshop by Chenthil Mohan – Bangalore
FUJIFILM India organized a Fuji x Masterclass on Sports Photography with X-Ambassador Chenthil Mohan, a seasoned sports photographer on Sept 30th, 2023, at PDCSE, Bangalore. The participants had the opportunity to explore diverse styles, refine camera settings, master lens techniques for action shots, perfect composition, and framing sports photographs. Moreover, they seized the rare opportunity to shoot live sports at India’s renowned Padukone Dravid Center for Sports Excellence.

India Photo & Video Expo Lucknow was held on 22nd – 24th Sept 2023 at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Lucknow. The Fujifilm booth witnessed an approximate footfall of over 18k visitors across the three days. Fujifilm X-Ambassador Vikas Babu visited the booth.
Video Photo Trade Fair Raipur:
Video Photo Trade Fair Raipur was held on 22nd – 24th Sept 2023 at Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Jora, Raipur. The Fujifilm booth witnessed an approximate footfall of over 3.2k visitors across the three days.
6th Cova Expo2023 Photo Video & Imaging Fest Coimbatore:
6th Cova Expo2023 Photo Video & Imaging Fest Coimbatore was held on 29th Sept – 1st Oct 2023 at Codissia Trade Fair Complex, Coimbatore. The Fujifilm booth witnessed an approximate footfall of over 8k visitors across the three days. Fujifilm X-Ambassador Saravanakumar Thangavelu visited the booth.

Photo Video Asia 2023 Delhi was held on 29th Sept – 1st Oct 2023 at Hall No-12A, Pragati Maidan, Delhi. The Fujifilm booth witnessed an approximate footfall of over 18k visitors across the three days. Fujifilm X-Ambassadors visited the booth included T Narayan & Gautam Variya.
