Sundeep Bali is a lens-based artist and commercial photographer.
Bali was trained to be an arts-management professional and curator. And accorded a US Fulbright Fellowship in visual-arts before he became a full-time photographer. As an artist, Bali has exhibited widely- in India, New Zealand and the US.
Commercially Sundeep shoots art interventions & installations, fashion & beauty, food & locations.
Client list includes CFA Institute(Hong Kong), Harper’s Bazaar, J.J. Valaya Luxury Holdings, Goethe Institut, MAC Cosmetics, Embassy of Switzerland, Polish Institute, Pro Helvetia: Swiss Arts Council and KHOJ International Artists’ Association amongst others.
His personal wok is aligned between street and culture.
He has also been accorded the honor of a Lens Ambassador for Carl Zeiss, the iconic lens- manufacturer since 2013.
As a professional proactively working towards photography education Bali has been designing and conducting workshops/photo- expeditions for a wide gamut of audience – from corporate groups, educational institutions like NIFT to groups of passionate amateurs.
Bali has been a core faculty-member of APEX (Academy for Photographic Excellence)from 2006 till 2015.

TESTIMONIAL

My travels and my documentary work involves interacting with people and being unobtrusive while also keeping weight and bulk of my equipment to a minimum. All these factors combined with excellent image characteristics made me jump into the Fuji system with the X100S in 2013. Over the next few years, I travelled extensively with it and eventually, completely switched form DSLRs to the Fujifilm Mirrorless system. I now use them exclusively for all my work. For me the X System gets out the way and allows the photographer to actualize the vision while at the same time provides the quality and technological support needed for professional work. The design and usability makes the cameras invisible and helps it to gel well with documentary and travel photography to the point that I think it becomes an extension of the eye.
