MASTERCLASS HIGHLIGHTS

"Big Films with Small Cameras" - Aditya Varma (Delhi)

FUJIFILM India organised a Fuji x Masterclass on Filmmaking with X-Ambassador Aditya Varma, Director of Photography on June 17th, 2023, at Hotel Shangri-La, Delhi.

Speaking about the Masterclass, Mr. Koji Wada, Managing Director, FUJIFILM India, quoted “The purpose of this state-of-the-art workshop with Industry Professionals is to make people aware of competencies of smaller but highly capable Fujifilm Mirrorless cameras in filmmaking”.

The workshop, which focused on deconstructing Aditya’s videos and films, proved to be a resounding success. Participants were provided with profound insights into the benefits of using small cameras to capture stunning footage. Guided by Aditya’s extensive experience, attendees gained invaluable tips and tricks from his personal repertoire, enhancing their skills in Filmmaking & Production and allowing them to take their newfound knowledge home.

“Storytelling At Weddings. Create Stories with Depth, Poise & Feeling” - Arjun Kartha (Gurugram)

The Arjun Kartha’s Masterclass was held on 24th June, 2023 at Museo Camera Centre, Gurgaon. The workshop focused on capturing wedding moments with emotional depth and artistic grace. Arjun shared his expertise, guiding participants on storytelling techniques, composition, and capturing genuine emotions. Arjun is also onboard to Fujifilm India as X-Ambassador creating romantic tales with X and GFX series cameras.

EXHIBITION HIGHLIGHTS

• Photofest India 2023 Exhibition

The Photofest India 2023 Expo was held on 15th-17th June 2023 at the Adlux International Convention Center in Angamaly, Ernakulam, Kerala. Organized in collaboration with the All Kerala Photographers Association, the Fujifilm booth witnessed an approximate footfall of over 26k visitors across the three days. Key X-Ambassadors who visited at the Fujifilm booth included Roy Lawrence, Arun Sol, Ajith Kumar M G. The workshop conducted by Radha Krishnan Chakyat at the Expo was a major highlight for the visitors. Additionally, Fujifilm showcased the power of Fujinon Binoculars for the first time in India.

• Photo Today 2023 Exhibition

The Photo Today 2023 Exhibition took place on 23rd-25th June 2023 at B-46 Palace Grounds in Bengaluru. Over the course of three days, around 20k visitors visited and experienced X & GFX Series of products at Fujifilm booth. Moreover, the newly announced X-S20 camera stole the spotlight at the expo.

Firmware updates

New firmware updates were announced by FUJIFILM for X series cameras in June with more advanced features, motion prediction algorithms, subject detection capability and much more.
