“Fujifilm GFX100S II” is equipped with a large format sensor approximately 1.7 times larger than a 35mm full-frame sensor. “FUJINON GF500mmF5.6 R LM OIS WR” Go Further

The GF500mmF5.6 R LM OIS WR is a super telephoto prime lens that can capture images up to 500mm (equivalent to 396mm in 35mm format), making it the longest in the lineup of GF lenses. When combined with the Fujinon Teleconverter GF1.4X TC WR, which expands the lens’ focal length, it achieves a maximum focal length of 700mm (equivalent to 554mm in 35mm format). FUJIFILM TETHER APP

FUJIFILM launched the new FUJIFILM TETHER APP integrates “Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic + Tether Plugin” and “FUJIFILM X Acquire into a single, Powerful tool for seamless tether shooting and camera control.

FIRMWARE UPDATES:

New firmware updates were announced by FUJIFILM for X and GFX series cameras in June with more advanced features, improved operability, new film simulation additions and much more for GFX100 II, X-T5, X-S20, X-H2S, X-H2, GF55mm, GF80mm.

“BECOMING” A FILM BY LEENA YADAV & ASEEM BAJAJ

Becoming is a short film shot in Ladakh with Fujifilm GFX100II and Fujinon Premista lenses, this cinematic masterpiece showcases the brilliance of director Leena Yadav, cinematographer Aseem Bajaj, Music composer Shigeru Umebayashi and sound composer Resul Pookutty. The film showcase the mesmerizing portrayal of the spiritualization of Buddhism, delving into its underlying philosophy of the cycle of lives and rebirth.

‘BECOMING’ movie screening was held on June 16th, 2024, at PVR cinemas, Forum Mall, Kochi in association with Cinematographers Union of Malayalam Cinema [CUMAC]. The screening was graced by the presence of esteemed filmmakers and veteran cinematographers & Actors. They expressed their delight at being part of the event, fondly reminiscing about the film. They also mentioned & praised Fujifilm GFX100II & Fujinon Lenses.

WORKSHOP HIGHLIGHTS

“Art of Cinematography” - Gautam Variya (Rajasthan)

Art of Cinematography workshop was conducted by Gautam Variya on 9th June 2024, in Ajmer, Rajasthan. The event drew budding and seasoned videographers eager to learn advanced techniques in cinematic storytelling, camera work, and editing, enhancing their skills to create stunning, emotionally compelling wedding films.

“Capturing the Magic of Wedding Moments” - Sudeep Bhattacharya (Mysore)

A workshop on Capturing the Magic of Wedding Moments was conducted by Sudeep Bhattacharya on 22nd June 2024, in Mysore, Karnataka. The event attracted aspiring and professional photographers, offering invaluable insights into storytelling, technical skills, and creative techniques, enriching participants’ abilities to capture the essence and emotions of weddings beautifully.

“Art of Wedding Photography” – Piyush Khatri (MP)

Two workshops on Art of Wedding photography were conducted by Piyush Khatri on 23rd and 24th June 2024 in MP. The session attracted both novice and experienced photographers, offering valuable insights into capturing the emotions and beauty of weddings. Piyush shared expert techniques on composition, lighting, and storytelling, enriching participants’ skills to create memorable wedding photographs.

EXHIBITION HIGHLIGHTS

‣ Photo Fest India 2024 – Photo, Video & Imaging Fair

The Photo Fest India 2024 Expo was held on 13th-15th June 2024 at Adlux International Convention Centre, Kochi. The Fujifilm booth witnessed an approximate footfall of over 18k visitors across the three days. Fujifilm Key X-Ambassadors visited the booth included Neethu Thomas, Nayana, Ajith Kumar MG.
