X AMBASSADORS MEET HIGHLIGHTS

The FUJIFILM X Ambassadors meet up was held at JW Marriott, Delhi on 28th March 2024 which invited Fujifilm X Ambassadors family and professionals in their field creating award winning content with X and GFX Series. Arun Babu, Associate Director FUJIFILM India, delivered an engaging presentation expressing gratitude to all Ambassadors for their contribution to our products. He highlighted the new short film “BECOMING” by Director Leena Yadav and Cinematographer Aseem Bajaj shot on GFX100II and Fujinon Premista lenses; he also highlighted the new INSTAX Pal™ digital camera. The event featured recognition to X Ambassadors. Legendary Padma Shri Raghu Rai shared a few words, enhancing the vibrancy of the celebration. The following day, X Ambassadors visited the FUJIFILM X Space in Delhi for a store experience.

“BECOMING” A FILM BY LEENA YADAV & ASEEM BAJAJ

Becoming is a short film shot in Ladakh with Fujifilm GFX100II and Fujinon Premista lenses, this cinematic masterpiece showcases the brilliance of director Leena Yadav, cinematographer Aseem Bajaj, Music composer Shigeru Umebayashi and sound composer Resul Pookutty. The film showcase the mesmerizing portrayal of the spiritualization of Buddhism, delving into its underlying philosophy of the cycle of lives and rebirth.

‘BECOMING’ movie screening was held on March 24, 2024, at Prasad Digital film Lab, Chennai in collaboration with Southern India Cinematographers Association (SICA). The screening was graced by the presence of esteemed filmmaker Rajiv Menon and veteran cinematographers Alphonse Roy, MN Gnanasekaran, P. Sukumar, Sakthi Saravanan, CJ Rajkumar & others. They expressed their delight at being part of the event, fondly reminiscing about the film. They also mentioned & praised Fujifilm GFX100II

& Fujinon Lenses. More such events are planned in the future across the country.

FUJIFILM WILDLIFE CAPTURE - CONTEST WINNERS ANNOUCEMENT

WORKSHOP HIGHLIGHTS

“Live wedding shoot with Weddingrams” - Divyam Mehrotra (Rajasthan)

A Live wedding shoot with Weddingrams was conducted by Divyam Mehrotra on 16th and 17th March in Bikaner, Rajasthan. Participants honed their skills in real-time wedding photography using innovative techniques through X and GFX cameras explained in live shoot as well as edit and post process session. His guidance illuminated the path to creating timeless and emotive wedding photographs, inspiring participants to new heights of creativity.

“Photo-Expedition at Nandgaon” - Sundeep Bali (Delhi)

A Photo Expedition at Nandgaon was conducted with Future forward, supported by FUJIFILM and hosted by Sundeep Bali on 19th March 2024. Around 20 participants attended the expedition. Participants immersed themselves in the riot of colors, capturing mesmerizing moments.

FIRMWARE UPDATES:

New firmware updates were announced by FUJIFILM for X series cameras and GXF Series cameras in the month of March with more improved camera linkage with X App and Flicker reduction function and much more for GFX100II, GFX50SII, X-T4, X-T3, X-S10 and X-T30II.
